Coming to Campus

Students with an active student ID card are welcome to visit campus. (Please see the New Student Welcome Packet for instructions on obtaining an ID). Students who wish to make a one-time in-person visit related to a course in which they are currently enrolled—e.g. to attend a lab, class session, or office hour—must receive written permission from their professor before doing so.

Immunization Compliance

Per Columbia Health policy, students that intend to access campus for any reason at any time, including those registered only for online courses, are subject to the immunization compliance requirement. Any student that fails to complete the requirement or has not received an approved medical or religious exemption for the required vaccines shall not be permitted to access University facilities nor engage in any in-person, University-recognized activities.

Students who will remain fully remote for the duration of their program are not obligated to submit proof of vaccination to Columbia HealthPlease visit Columbia Health for more detailed information on vaccination recommendations and requirements and instructions on providing proof of vaccination.
